Responsible for firefighting, rescue, emergency medical care, and other related emergency services. Participation in programs designed for the prevention of fires and the saving of life and property. Required to rapidly, efficiently and safely perform various duties under emergency conditions frequently involving considerable hazard. This work includes routine duties in the maintenance of firefighting vehicles, equipment and fire service facilities.
Responsible for providing technical support and leading a team in the development of health and safety programs and plans tailored to project work. Collaborate with Project Management Leadership, Project Teams and Occupational Safety and Health when establishing strategic goals, working on initiatives, and promoting a safety culture to ensure the safety of all staff and support the safe delivery of all projects.
Responsible for the development and administration of the safety and health programs in the Business Unit to provide a safe work environment for all staff. Assist and provide technical support to the Workplace Safety and Health Committees and liaise with Regulatory Authorities through the HR and Workplace Safety & Health Division.
