I have worked in the industry since 1992 with West Fraser Mills. I started my steamfitting apprenticeship in 2006. I completed my steamfitting with my B gas ticket in 2009. I enjoyed all the aspects of the trade. In 2010 after west fraser closed one of their mills in Kitimat, I took my trade to Quesnel where I worked for West Fraser Mills at Quesnel River Pulp with my Steamfitting and B gas ticket. At this mill I was able to require millwright experiences. Loving the trade I decided to advance and challenge myself and became a red sealed millwright since 2019. Becoming dual ticketed is one of my great accomplishments. Today I do both trades daily.
At Quesnel River Pulp and and a active member of the Joint Health and Safety committee. I am also on the apprenticeship committee.
