interests

Kitimat is my home town, born and raised in kitimat. Have always enjoyed the outdoors. Camping with my family this including hunting and fishing. Looking forward to purchasing my own ocean boat to enjoy in kitimat. I have been in many sports, enjoy curling , baseball, skiing, biking and hiking and snowmobiling. I race snowmobiles. I like tuning and fixing my snowmobiles for the best performance. I also enjoy music. I have been in many bands over the years. love to play and write music. I am looking forward to getting back to my home town with so many family and friends there.

Additional Information

I have worked in the industry since 1992 with West Fraser Mills. I started my steamfitting apprenticeship in 2006. I completed my steamfitting with my B gas ticket in 2009. I enjoyed all the aspects of the trade. In 2010 after west fraser closed one of their mills in Kitimat, I took my trade to Quesnel where I worked for West Fraser Mills at Quesnel River Pulp with my Steamfitting and B gas ticket. At this mill I was able to require millwright experiences. Loving the trade I decided to advance and challenge myself and became a red sealed millwright since 2019. Becoming dual ticketed is one of my great accomplishments. Today I do both trades daily.


At Quesnel River Pulp and and a active member of the Joint Health and Safety committee. I am also on the apprenticeship committee. I also have done training to be a fit tester for donning SCBA and our personal respirators. I have also been a relief supervisor, with this I organized crews and contractors to meet our daily tasks.
