Mateo Valadez

I am seeking employment to give me practical life experience and good habits to help me become increasingly self-sufficient to prepare me for the next chapter in my life going away to college.

I am a student at Bradshaw Christian High School going into my Junior year. I have participated in various school activities, but most notably I have challenged myself with taking honors courses while playing sports year-round. By challenging myself academically I have developed my ability to think creatively to be an effective problem solver. Through participation in sports such as football, basketball, and baseball I have learned to be a good team player who works hard and sacrifices for the benefit of the larger group. When I ran cross-country I needed to push myself and accomplish the goal of finishing the race which helped build my perseverance in the face of challenges. In the fall I will continue to challenge myself by taking AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP United States History which will help me towards my goal of attending a four-year university.

This past year I was fortunate enough to volunteer my time by spending time and providing guidance to underprivileged children within the community.
