- Oversaw majority of policy responsibilities to support preparation of City Council and Committee meetings. This included reading staff reports, meeting with City staff to gather additional information when needed, briefings on key items, and summarizing items into 1-2 sentences to make them easily understandable to the public.
- Created Resolutions to be presented to individuals or organizations at City Council meetings or in the community. This included extensive research to gather key accomplishments of these recognitions and outreach to members of the community to ensure all details are accurate.
- Managed constituent cases and affairs for the District. This included responding within 2 business days to any constituent who reached out to our office, connecting them with City staff to ensure resolution on their requests, and creating weekly summaries to provide to my elected official on all of the cases we received and closed out for the week.
- Oversaw and managed a middle & high school youth program that was created through our office. This included creating weekly volunteer opportunities, connecting youth with organizations that empower them, and being a point of contact whenever guidance is needed as they prepare for next steps in their career such as entering the workforce or college.
- Supported in the creation of dozens of events sponsored by the District 1 office on a weekly basis. This included supporting with the creation and success of a weekly farmers market held in North Natomas throughout the summer, cultural events, and additional resourceful events held for the community.
- Attended community meetings, stakeholder meetings, and events on a weekly basis to share updates on key items taking place in our District, on the City level and representing my elected official whenever needed.
