Some of my daily duties include (but not limited to):

  • Welcoming clients into our warm, safe and judgement-free wellness space.
  • Listening to and assessing the concerns of each clients current concerns and hopeful results.
  • Providing therapeutic massage via 60-90 minute treatment sessions to help enhance client care, mobility and physical well-being.
  • Offering a variety of massage techniques such as GeneralSwedishMassage (GSM), Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Techniques, Sports Massage (prevention + recovery), TMJ*, etc. in relation to clients needs and expectations.
  • Collaborating with fellow wellness practitioners to create and maintain a calming and healing environment which helps each client feel a great sense of comfort and care.
  • Maintaining a shared, clean and well-organized treatment room (following health and safety standards) before and after each session (and shift).
  • Describing and demonstrating practical and effective homecare such as stretches, simple exercises and/or recommendations to keep clients on track with their continued health and wellness goals.
  • Offers and explains the benefits of Hydrotherapy, including use of Hot Towels, recommending use of Infrared Sauna (before or after treatment) and information about Floatation Therapy, which can continue to help de-stress (both body and mind).
