Surgery Rotation
- Provided basic nursing care to adult patients under the supervision of clinical instructors.
- Practiced sterile and aseptic techniques during wound care and dressing changes.
- Observed and assisted in administering IV fluids and medications and monitoring vital signs.
Medicine Rotation
- Observed and assisted in caring for patients with chronic and acute medical conditions.
- Participated in bedside care.
- Carried out health teachings related to medication adherence and disease management.
- Recorded patient data in the nursing care plan under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Obstetric Rotation
- Assisted with monitoring fetal heart tones, fundal height, and vital signs.
- Assisted in providing care to mothers during prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
Pediatric Rotation
- Practiced effective communication tailored to the child’s developmental stage, using age-appropriate language and comfort techniques.
- Supported family-centered care by involving parents in the treatment plan and responding empathetically to caregiver concerns.
