Volunteered in Sara Peterson’s 3rd-4th grade class at Central Community Elementary School (32.5 hours, May 2019) and then later in her 4th-5th grade class at Leigh Elementary School (40 hours, January-February and May 2023).

Worked one-on-one with two school aged boys throughout their elementary school years on a weekly basis to bring their reading, writing, and mathematics up to grade level.
Sessions involved helping them learn and practice weekly spelling words, explain and practice math concepts, as well as assisting them on improving their reading and writing skills with a goal of making learning fun, engaging, and personal to their learning styles.
