As lead administrator, I was responsible for communicating with the HCS board of directors as well as governing bodies. I worked as part of an administrative team, managed the HCS operating budget and supervised 28 staff. The list of experiences and skills of a K to 12 administrator are varied and lengthy. While an administrator, I continued with a small teaching load that typically included senior math, physics and IT courses.
During these years, I worked as a classroom teacher. I taught a variety of courses ranging from Math 4 to several grade 12 courses. The majority of my teaching assignment was math from grades 7 to 12. For several years I was the high school Athletic Director and was a member of the school's finance committee. I also did a significant amount of IT work.
During these years, I taught courses at NWCC. The courses were advanced use of MS Office Suite, Care and Maintenance of Computers, and Data Mining Using SQL.
