I report to my corporate office on company goals, monthly budget reporting, and office stats. I meet with customers, suppliers, airlines (all locally and internationally) to help secure and maintain business by negotiating rates, and cost of services. I also work to procure business and reprocure the business we need to maintain, and additionally, I have progressive experience in administration and day to day office operations and procedures. Make sure we are in compliance with regulations for airfreight operations and with TSA and Customs Border Patrol. Meeting deadlines for customers, carriers, and agents regarding cargo, freight, and shipping needs.
Monthly budget reports based on the monthly sales for the company.
Managing the day-to-day operations to stay aligned with the office goals from our corporate office.
Collaborate with our other offices based on company goals, needs, and requirements.
Communicating with customers to accommodate them with their business needs, gaining and maintaining new accounts, as well as meeting them with the target rates they need to secure business on their end.
Stay in the know of what is going on in air transportation. i.e procurement, airline news, closures, protests, etc.
Experience with HTS/schedule B, EAR99, and CCL (commodity class).
Global shipments: S. America, UK, Europe, Africa & Hong Kong.
Gathered data for company stats, comparing/analyzing docs.
Problem solved issues/complaints from/for customers overseas and locally. Implemented procedures to increase office productivity. Customer Service (follow-up calls, emails, administrative work, filing. Trained new employees on processes and procedures.
Bookings for several clients (Medical equipment, Lab Reagents, Personal Effects, Agriculture & Electronics, cosmetics, machines and parts etc.) Helped to attain more business/growth. Promoted products and service offered (sales).
