  • Plan and execute in-vitro experiments focused on testing novel CRISPR based gene technologies as well as next generation editing and delivery modalities
  • Performs successful mRNA IVT synthesis by cloning new plasmid designs that are robustly verified via sanger sequencing and used to make efficient mRNA constructs that can be used for future experiments
  • Performs transfections using immortalized cells (ex. HUH7, HEK293T, Hepa 1-6, and NIH3T3) and/or primary cells (PHH).
  • Designs, orders and screens gRNAs
  • Performs PCRs and obtains sequencing data (sanger seq and AMP-seq) for analysis of experiments performed. (Analysis tools: PRISM, Excel, FlowJo and SNAPGENE)
  • Maintains detailed ELNs (benchling entries) and any supporting documents for all experiments and projects worked on
  • Presents data and findings in relevant meetings via power point presentations and/or any other tool that may best showcase work (ex. Snapgene, PRISM)
