Accomplishments

Just recently received a grant from FPCC for $30,900.00 for "Sharing Traditions Arts Across Generations. To take 10 Nuxalk cedar Weavers to visit the Museum of Vancouver where we will study and record our Nuxalk Artifacts there and at the Museum of Anthropology we will be doing more research on Nuxalk Archives.


I am passionate about my sobriety (4 years!) when I almost lost my life! Now I am living life to the absolute fullest.....


I'm proud of the 2 totem pole projects I completed!


I changed a EI law where they try take my EI away from me but it was over ruled and I was able tocollect my EI and Graduate!

I am an avid Mushroom picker in the Fall months, I pick Pine Mushrooms for extra income and for harvesting for my Medicine.


I love being in my Smokehouse. I am teaching my granddaughter all my traditional knowledge that was passed down to me by my grandmother.


I make my own medicines, tinctures, Salves, teas.
