I am confident with my 30 plus years of experience working as both an heavy duty and automotive mechanic in the central vancouver island region will be an excellent fit for this position. I have extensive experience working as a Heavy duty mechanic on fleet logging trucks for Western forest products where I was required to work in both the shop and field working in difficult conditions. I also owned and operated my own automotive repair business where I contracted to work on light duty trucks and cars.
For the last 4 years I have worked as a seasonal instructor at North island college teaching trade samplers, women in trades, a powersport course and the automotive program.
