• Collaborated with team of three for a capstone project for the development of a cheap winch system attached to a custom built RPA. We created a 3D printed mount, rewired a winch intended for use on an RC car so that it could be powered by the RPA's battery, and we programmed the flight controller to allow us to send commands using our remote control from the ground.
• Following graduation, a fellow student and I volunteered our time to demonstrate a thermal drone for the leader of the Help Alberta Wildies Society, a group which seeks to protect the wild horses in Alberta, showing the strengths and weaknesses of a commercial product.
