  • My work as a General Maintenance Technician (GMT) involves anything from assembling entrance lobby display promotions for Cineplex to installing big screen displays with in ceiling speakers for the Game Stop, or doing drywall repairs in bank ATM lobbies
  • Additionally the work can be more Break/Fix oriented requiring the use of many cordless tools and equipment to complete the job
  • This is also a part-time contract position

  • This was a part-time work contract paid on hours, travel costs and expenses

  • Responsibilities included merchandising current displays, and installing new displays in Electronics retailers such as Best Buy, Bell, Telus, Staples, Rogers, The Source, and maintaining displays according to current Planograms or managerial directives
  • Assembling and installing various displays was a repetitive process on a quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis
  • Service responsibilities included upgrades of graphics and signage as well as Troubleshooting technical problems
