Travels

Having spent nearly 20 years now as a seasonal worker, I've been fortunate enough to spent most of my winters backbacking in over 50 countries now between travels in Asia, Latin America and Africa. I believe my comfort in adjusting to the different cultures and customs, and my ability to not only contend with but embrace the often adverse conditions could be considered an asset in most work environments.

Interests

  • Hiking. Perhaps more than anything I love getting out in the forest and going for a hike.
  • Canoeing/canoe tripping is another passion of mine. While my trips are limited to the fall these days and of shorter durations, I have in the past paddled up to 700km at a time on solo canoe trips mostly in northern Ontario.
  • Sea Kayaking, like canoeing it's something I love to do.
  • Traveling/backpacking
  • Reading
