As an English teacher, my aim has always been to foster effective
communication and understanding in society and education. This
position would allow me to use my familiarity with educational
documents and expertise in content creation and editing to affect
systemic change through the creation of educational content.
• Developed instructional materials and exercises, grounding them in the legal and cultural context of learners
• Created assessment tools to evaluate learners’ abilities, providing differentiation to accommodate learner needs and focus on skills
• Instructed classes of 13 - 23 students daily, ensuring provincial and district standards were met

OUTreach was a student group that lead regular social programming for the 2SLGBTQ+ community on the UofA campus
Duties:
• Organized and facilitated monthly executive meetings to plan and deliver weekly general meetings.
• Planned, coordinated and led meetings on a monthly basis, ranging from information sessions from local community leaders and businesses to socialization activities.
• Helped organize the annual fundraising event on campus.
