Led operational oversight and and daily supervision of City of Edmonton Community Peace Officer s (Deployed for COVID-19 monitoring and enforcement)

• I was hired by COE as the Community Peace Officer Sgt. supervisor / managing animal abuse investigations. Shortly after starting the new position I was moved into the duty officer position.

Responsibilities include disaster management preparation, site management, critical incident response, coordination of operations of wide range of specialized equipment. Planning, training and policy development in relation to disasters, incidents and special events.

• Management and supervision of EPS Marine Unit including equipment procurement & maintenance, scheduling and enforcement of federal and provincial legislation on the North Saskatchewan River,
• Management of Search Managers Unit including support of training, administration, recruiting, program development and equipment procurement and maintenance
• Management of Logistical Support Unit including training and maintenance of mobile command posts, side by side ATV's, generators, light plants, mobile CCTV equipment and flood plan response,
• Supervision /management of personnel, training and equipment for the EPS Public Safety Unit & Management of Labor Relations
• EPS Respiratory Program (incl. FIT Testing, equipment, training and record retention)
• Management of all DEOPS equipment (Mobile Action Center, Mobile Command Post, Emergency Site Equipment etc, )
• Operational planning/response for major or critical events
• Management of the EPS Facility Emergency Response Plans (FERP)
• Direct supervision of the Emergency Operations Unit Constables & PSU Administration Constable
• Assist with the oversight and supervision of large numbers of police officers at critical incidences including at major events in support of Extra Duty Detail deployments
• Collaboration and ongoing liaison with a wide variety of Agency partners and community partners stakeholders

• Seconded from Edmonton Police Service to RCMP, deployed with Canadian Armed Forces mission Operation Proteus. Achieved and currently maintain Top Secret level clearance
• Police advisor / mentor to Palestinian security forces; worked in volatile environment occupied territories / west-bank
• Embedded with international team of military & police advisors to Palestinian Officers Academy. Advised and mentored senior instructor cadre, developed and instructed a variety of specialized tactics and investigative training programs at POA
• Collaborated with international partners to create relevant and professional programs, and streamlined procedures for effective delivery
• Created instructional programs and improved program delivery. Completed other police-related and confidential mission assignments as directed by mission commanders
