Animal Care Attendant & Supervisor

  • Opening and closing of the building in which I also set a roster that I assigned to everyone that included duties/tasks for the day.
  • Managed approximately 30 incoming calls, 70 emails and faxes per day from Customers and outside venders.
  • Caring for all animals in the shelter included feeding, cleaning, and tending to different departments where assistance was needed
  • Followed pet care instructions for scheduled dietary and/or medical needs on various animal species
  • Supervised and trained many animal care attendants, and supervised different departments at various times as well as interviewed for future positions for EHS
  • I am also on the OHS (Operational Health and Safety) committee, where we get together once a month to go over any and all health and safety data incurred
  • I restock and rotate supplies to maintain efficient operations throughout the shelter
