I am writing to express my strong interest in the Mental Health Casual Worker position.. I have a well-developed understanding of PHS service model, values, and vision, for the community I serve. Through my previous experience in support roles, I have many of the skills and competencies required to perform successfully in this role. Having worked in residential housing settings, I am well-versed in the day-to-day operations, tasks, and service standards. My relevant skill sets include supporting daily living processes, facilitating move ins/outs, cleaning and sanitation practices, meal preparation, healthcare/medication assistance, and general facilities monitoring. I have experience with intake and discharge processes and related administrative tasks. In addition, I have good knowledge of community resources and the referral process.
