I am a mother of 3 amazing humans. I am also a survivor of domestic violence and abuse. I moved out at a young age and worked to survive, eventually going into trade school to become a hairstylist. Education was a life-long dream. I redid grade 12 in 2022 to achieve acceptance into University of Waterloo as a mature student.

I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers and the Canadian Association for Social Work Education. I am a full-time student at University of Waterloo, in the Social Development program.

Certified in the Standardized training in the Strong Start literacy program. Certified in First Aid and CPR (needs to be updated). Certified in the trade of hairstyling. Driving G license certification. Successfully completed the Course on Research Ethics based on the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans.
