  • I am currently a physician scheduler for the Downey region at Kaiser Permanente
  • I ensure the consistent and efficient operation of the medical office schedules, initiate and prepare and implement the monthly provider schedules for various departments
  • Distribute the provider master schedules to providers, medical office administration, and ancillary support services promptly
  • Solely responsible for ensuring accurate, complete, and timely schedules, subject to the approval of the Module Coordinators and Chiefs of Service

  • I was first hired as a front and back office medical assistant for the ambulatory surgery clinic
  • I checked in patients, took vital signs, and assisted with some minor noninvasive procedures for reconstructive plastic surgery
  • Within a few months, I was offered the position of support coordinator for one of the busiest and most well-known bariatric and general surgeons at USC, and I was offered a new surgeon
