• De-loading of overloaded feeder, Designed a new link to de-load the feeder as per load parameters and transferred some load to newly built feeder to provide load balance., Tested and recorded new readings to validate theoretical results.
• Highway Widening - National highway Authority of India, Evaluated the total relocation cost of electrical infrastructure to provide land for widening of National Highway-54., Accurately calculated the project to relocate 45 km of infrastructure as per department guidelines and reduced the costing from 1.8 Million CAD to 1.6 million CAD., The solution offered and designed by me was to use ACSR for overhead lines instead of 3/c 150mm2 cable in for 11 KV line which required less expensive equipment for installation and smooth running.
• Library Automation - SBS college of Engineering and Technology, India, Calculated and then matched the necessary lumens of light required for activities and considering ISO/IEC 13273-1:2015., Designed control circuit using Arduino Uno controller and proximity sensors for control of lighting equipment of library reading and discussion rooms.
• Power Theft Detection and Protection - Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, India, Researched and listed 32 different ways by which power theft was carried out., Sorted out and selected the most common way was of power theft which was bypassing the live wire of incoming circuit., Considering this I designed a Power Theft prevention circuit utilizing the simple components at a very lower cost (less than 1/4th of the cost of smart meters used to prevent theft).
• Solar Power Project - Indian Army, India, To design, implement, and commission a 100 MW net metering solar system to meet the energy needs of the Indian Army, ensuring sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and reliable energy supply., My job was to design and estimate the cost of project. I accurately calculated this multi-million project.
