I am a highly motivated healthcare academic and physiotherapist with over 12 years of combined experience in teaching, research, and clinical practice. My career has been dedicated to promoting health and wellness through evidence-based care and inclusive education. I hold a Master’s in Rehabilitation and a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy, and I have worked across academic, hospital, and outpatient settings.
My clinical journey began in a hospital setting (2011–2013), where I gained experience in both inpatient and outpatient departments. Since 2013, I have continued to provide physiotherapy care in outpatient and clinical practice while balancing academic and research responsibilities. This has enabled me to integrate hands-on patient care with evidence-based knowledge to optimize treatment outcomes.
Currently, I am employed as a Rehabilitation Assistant at Back in Motion in Surrey, BC, where I support the Customized Recovery and Return to Work (CRR) program for Work Safe BC clients with musculoskeletal injuries. In addition, I contribute to wellness and disability programs through patient documentation and program compliance. With my interdisciplinary expertise, strong organizational skills, and compassionate approach, I am committed to delivering individualized, patient-centered care that supports recovery, function, and overall quality of life.
I successfully completed the credentialing evaluation with the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) in January 2023 and passed the Written Component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (PCE) in February 2025.
