  • Data Management Program (DMP): Portfolio consists of 4 major streams with 13 regulatory and critical projects: The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) - is developing an integrated and comprehensive filing system to modernize the existing National SEDAR application and other CSA applications such as System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI), Cease-Trade Order Database (CTO), Disciplined List (DL), National Registration Database (NRD) and National Registration Search (NRS). This multi-year transformation of modernized filing applications will be called SEDAR+. As a result of the transformation of the national system, the majority of OSC systems and business processes are impacted. The OSC is required to enhance/upgrade the capabilities of their systems and develop new applications to integrate with the SEDAR+ program. IBM Case Manager (integrated case management system) has been chosen as the modern platform to upgrade from the legacy IBM Dominos Lotus Notes system. OSC will be required to migrate to a modernized architecture, including developing and retrofitting new and legacy applications within IBM Case Manager while integrating with SEDAR+ using IBM App Connect ESB (Enterprise Service Bus).
  • Master Data Management (MDM) - 3 Phases. Build a single view of entities OSC regulates and interacts with and have the ability to uniquely identify and manage a single view/set of organizational issuers, underwriters, and finance customers.
  • OTC Derivatives - Data Mart (Data Warehouse Implementation) - 3 Phases. OSC is regulating Over the Counter (OTC) Derivatives Market in Ontario. The data provided by the various Trade Repositories (TRs) will help the OSC to monitor the Forex, Derivatives, etc., trading in Ontario.

IBM Security Guardium is designed to help safeguard critical data.
  • Responsibilities: Develop and manage a road map for all applications for the complete IT renewal. Set up a Program Governance structure in the organization. Define the Program/Projects controls, processes, procedures, reporting, project prioritization, etc. to manage the Program.
