I am a second-year student at Cal Poly seeking an employment opportunity. I will be staying in San Luis Obispo over the summer, so I am here for the long term. I’ve worked as a front desk shop attendant, a hostess, a waitress, an occasional babysitter, and currently am a faculty supervisor at the Recreation Center on campus. I have learned many valuable skills, such as problem-solving, communication with customers, catering to people’s needs, as well as confident organization and time management skills. I have had a lot of hands-on experience in many different jobs and have dealt with lots of scenarios, which makes me a confident and reliable worker. I am also a fast learner and can pick up on tasks easily.
