Cataloging of Children's’ Department Materials
- Downloading our New Material Records
- Deciding where in the collection materials would best fit making them easily located by patrons
- Correctly cataloging any new material monthly; This includes inputting all information staff or patrons might need about that specific material because if any information is inputed incorrectly it could cause a lot of confusion wasting time and resources.
Weeding collections
- Deciding which books to delete from our collection without causing any informational gaps
- Keeping track of what we have deleted and why so that we don’t add similar materials back into our collection that would just be taking up unnecessary shelf space
