Designing a Geothermal Power plant
Managed a group of 4 members in designing a Geothermal Power Plant, which utilizes the Rankine Cycle with H2O as the working fluid, to produce enough power (20 MW) to sustain a population of around 27,000 people efficiently and at a reasonable cost ($32 M)
Designed the cycle that uses a geothermal heat exchanger, two stage turbine, condenser, and mist eliminator to reach a reasonable thermal efficiency.
Designed a mechanical Calculator.
Managed a group of 5 members in designing the mechanism.
Designed mechanical calculator using solidworks.
Used Cure to 3d print the housing of the calculator.
Used Mastercam to simulate the machining process for the rest of the calculator's components.
Capstone Project.
Worked with a team of 5 members to improve fuel efficiency of vehicles by designing a new engine car cradle using low density magnesium alloy.
Performed material selection analysis to find the best possible alloy.
3D model of the new alloy was created, and finite element analysis was performed on it.
