• Responsibilities pertaining to this role consisted of completing daily and routine rubber, bloc, and silane analysis in an analytical lab setting. Samples produced within the Trenton plant and all other Michelin plants within Nova Scotia were analyzed within a 2-day window upon receiving.
• High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technology was employed to characterize sample quality relative to standards to verify the relative proximity of sample quality to the standard and to ensure that experiment accuracy.
• Frequent communication of such results between team members, adjacent teams involved in quality assurance, and other Michelin family plants located within Nova Scotia was critical in this role.
• Work-term projects regarding silica traceability and tracking was investigated. The findings of this research contributed to the identification and decision to reformulate a critical tire tread rubber complex.

Characterizing different types of thermoplastics used in 3D printing applications, specifically identifying what factors improve and hinder recycled filament quality. Methods of analysis thus far have included:

• Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
• Percent crystallinity determination in samples from different recycling methods
• Dehydration of samples and analyzing effects of moisture content

Analyzed the properties of multiple thermoplastics to enhance the performance of commonly recycled plastics within a manufacturing setting. The following methods of analysis were applied during the project.

• Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
• Infrared Spectroscopy (IR)
• Tensile testing

• Identified standards for specified equipment and compliance of these standards for upcoming project build.
• Communicated progress to team lead on a daily basis in online meetings, and communicated weekly progress as a team in division-wide meetings for Rotary and Mission Systems.
• Followed protocol to report when safety standards were not met between contractor and assembly party.
• Ensured for proper classification on all handled documents and messages communicated.

• Supported student learning objectives through personalized and small group assistance.
• Worked with lead teacher to monitor class schedule and take attendance.

• Assessed 30-40 weekly student assignments for quality and completeness.
• Reviewed answer keys for any potential errors/inconsistencies.

• Assisted customers by answering questions and fulfilling requests.
• Collaborated with team members to facilitate returns efficiently and provide satisfactory customer service.
