• Internal medicine duties include;
• 1- run outpatient clinic includes pure medical cases plus referrals from different specialties
• 2-covering critical care unit for critical medical cases[ hypertensive emergencies, acute asthmatic attacks, uncontrolled diabetes with diabetic ketoacidosis, respiratory tract infections with cases of respiratory failure , severe electrolyte Disturbances, Acute and chronic heart failure, drug toxicity
• 3- educational and training courses
• 4- Grand round daily with department staff
• 5-clinical presentation weekly in the Auditorium

• ,In charge of the Cardiology Department with vast experience in non-invasive cardiac lab. around 200 ECG , 100 ECHO reports /month
• Head of Continuing Medical Education, Administration Board member, Member of Ethical Committee, Member of Pharmaceutical Committee. weekly meeting with presentations from domestic or international guest speakers
• Speaker for most International AND local pharmaceutical companies

i working as internal medicine and cardiologist, head of internal medicine unit with duties included;

1-preoperative assessment of surgical cases with recommendations for either fit for surgical procedure or not and outpatient control of uncontrolled medical conditions to optimize their condition for smooth perioperative course.

2- post operative care during hospital stay of patients

3-on call for emergencies

• Residency program for 4 years in Cardiology Department with rotation in different sub-specialties (Echocardiography, Electrophysiology, Cardiac catheterization, nuclear imaging, Coronary care)
• Cardiologist and Critical Care Specialist from May 1988 to April 1990
