Proposed Alternative Energy System for Kwadacha BC | ENGR 478 Alternative Energy System

  • Calculated yearly GHG emissions, energy use and cost of the current Kwadacha energy system
  • Computed the feasibility of hydro, wind, geothermal, solar and biomass energy systems by comparing them to the current system
  • Created a revised alternative energy system that would save 790000Kg of CO2 per year, with a total capital cost of 1.53 million with a payback time of 19 months.
