• Title of Project: An in-vitro gut microbiome model for evaluating prebiotics and probiotics for production of Short Chain Fatty Acids.
• Presented a poster at London Health Research Day, 05/24.
• Collected stool samples and cultured them in a 96-deep well plate experimental model called MiPro.
• Performed serial dilution and plating for viable bacterial growth in an anaerobic workstation.

Darling Lab, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry - London, Ontario

• Title of Project: Chronic Hyperplastic Candidiasis as a Potentially Cancerous Lesion.
• Aiming to identify and compare S100A7 protein levels in transforming CHC, non-transforming CHC and Normal Tissue Controls using the QuPath software.
• It is estimated that S100A7 levels will be significantly increased in the epithelium of Chronic Hyperplastic Candidiasis lesions which transform to cancer.
