Emergency Department SickKids Child Life Volunteer

As a Child Life Volunteer in the Emergency Department at SickKids, I provided comfort and distraction to pediatric patients and their families during stressful situations. I engaged children in therapeutic play, helped explain medical procedures in a child-friendly manner, and supported the Child Life Specialists in creating a calming and supportive environment.
