Additional Information

On a personal note, for the past 10 years I have focused on family—particularly raising our now 14-year old son. He has been my greatest teacher about mental health and has led me to work with many professionals in Vancouver including, Sunnyhill Hospital, Allan Cashmore, SandStory Psychology, BC Centre for Abilities, SLPs, OTs, the FASD Institute, a YWCA Keyworker, and CYSN provided services. After school, when my son asks me what I did all day I always joke I was eating lollipops! It's hard to quantify the resourcefulness, advocacy and ultra marathon qualities of working with complex challenges. But I get it. I know that my empathy and resilience are valuable resources.
