Luz Campos

I completed half of my Co-op with the Junior Kindergarten class. I helped the educators with most of the activities like reading books to the kids, doing some art crafting, going out for field trips to the woods or to the library. I also learned how to work in an environment like this and the responsibilities that we need to do like disinfecting the tables and toys.

The second half of my Co-op I did it with the grade 4th class helping the teacher with the kids grades, helping the kids with their classwork and being involved in activities for their science class like raise chicks.

I volunteer in Fredericton Christian Academy´s after school with kids from 4 to 7 years old everyday from 3:00 pm to 4:30pm.

We prepared the kids some activities like drawing what they did that day at school, physical activities such as running around the outdoor playground and promoting activities related to the environment for example going for a walk around the neighborhood.

Helping 2nd grade students understanding new concepts in different subjects like spanish, math and english.

Assisted the teachers preparing materials and grading the kids homeworks.
