While working at Sarbast Construction, I worked on a team as well as independently. My job included studying plans and specifications. Along with determining the materials required for the job. Perfecting the dimensions, and coming up with the installation procedures. Ordering the correct materials and quantities. As a Bricklayer, I am responsible for coming up with the layout of the bricks, foundations, constructing and repairing walls, driveways, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys and other surfaces the customers have requested. Repairing and maintaining bricks and cements blocks. Cutting, shaping and polishing stones and bricks, using machines and hand tools and shaping bricks to fit irregular spaces, is part of the job.
