Installation:

• Reading blueprints and diagrams: Interpret technical drawings to understand the layout and specifications for machinery installation.
• Assembling and installing machinery: Use hand and power tools, and sometimes welding equipment, to assemble and install various types of industrial machinery.
• Positioning equipment: Utilizing lifting devices like cranes and jacks to move and position heavy machinery and parts during installation.
• Laying foundations: Construct foundations for machinery and direct other workers in this task.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Inspecting and troubleshooting: examine equipment for malfunctions, diagnose problems, and determine the necessary repairs.
• Repairing and replacing parts: Repair or replace worn or defective parts, sometimes using machine tools like lathes and grinders to fabricate necessary components.
• Maintaining power transmission systems: Including installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Performing routine maintenance: Includes cleaning, lubricating, and performing other tasks to keep machinery in good working order.

Other Responsibilities:

• Operating machine tools: Use machine tools like lathes and grinders to create or modify parts needed for repairs or installations.
• Working with various systems includes power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Following safety procedures: Adhere to strict safety protocols due to the nature of work with heavy machinery.
• Improved equipment efficiency by performing regular maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery.
• Ensured smooth plant operations by conducting routine inspections and implementing necessary adjustments to machinery.

• Installation and Setup: Installed, aligned, dismantled, and moved machinery and equipment, often using hand and power tools, and sometimes welding equipment.
• Maintenance and Repair: performed routine maintenance like cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery to identify and address potential issues. Also repaired or replaced defective parts and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Troubleshooting: The core part of my role was diagnosing problems with mechanical systems and finding solutions.
• Reading Blueprints: Often used to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to understand work procedures.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment was my everyday assignment and responsibility.
• Production: To Ensuring smooth operation of production machinery.

My everyday responsibility included but not limited to Maintaining equipment like generators, pumps, and compressors,conveyor systems,agitators,cyclone separators,mills and fixed plant equipment rebuilds.

The following where my daily duties which includes tasks like.

• Installation of lube pumps, motors, and couplings and alignment
• Pipe work assembly, repair and flashing of clogged pipes
• Changing of low- and high-pressure filters
• Installation of coolers and cooler fans
• Changing and installation of hydraulic components such as flowmeters, accumulators, and pressure control valves direction control and relief valves.
• Countershaft, safe set, and extension shaft removal and installations.
• Backlash setting and adjustments
• Hydro set, eccentric bull gear, inner eccentric bush and outer eccentric bush removal and installations.
• Dust seal bonnet and dust seal removal and installation.
• Changing of concave liners and mantle rebuild.
• Resolved mechanical issues using both technical and manual skills.
• Assembled and disassembled equipment to perform repairs and maintenance.
