Our June HeartStar is Luiz Landim Core Value - Find a Better Way!

Congratulations to Operations & HR Supervisor, Luiz, on being recognized as the HeartStar of the month for June 2025!

This month we recognize our fearless leader Luiz Landim as our June HeartStar. As you probably know Luiz has a passion for people and for his career in Human Resources!

Over the past 4 months, Luiz has been the greatest support for Carol, as she has been managing clients, consults, caregiver concerns, intakes, interviews, finances and everything else it takes to run our business.

This was especially true during June after our Scheduler decided to leave, and our Care Designer Kelly went off on a planned leave for the summer. In June Luiz gave his time freely to help with extra on-call duties on evenings and weekends, assisting the care team with everything he could, answering phones, scheduling, handling intakes, first visits and I'm sure other Care Designer duties. Both of us were helping each other.

All of this was while attending to his role as Operations & Human Resources Supervisor, hiring and onboarding new care team employees, AND never giving up on his quest to find the perfect match Care Designer to bring onto our team!

If that wasn't enough, he also elected to go back to school part-time to earn his Human Resources Certificate, and he continues with that initiative now.

I honestly don't know what I would have done without all of his help. His commitment to all of us is why I've nominated him for HeartStar June 2025!!!
