My extensive experience in academia, international collaboration, and institutional partnerships makes me well-suited for a role in trade and academic affairs. With over a decade as a professor at one of Ontario’s top universities, I have developed expertise in higher education systems, research, and cross-border initiatives. My MA in International Development and PhD in Ethnic and Migration Studies equip me with a deep understanding of global economic structures, migration policies, and international relations. Additionally, my work in foreign services and with an international organization in El Salvador, along with presentations at conferences in Canada, Spain, Chile, Mexico, and the U.S., showcases my ability to engage diverse stakeholders, and represent institutional interests. Having lived, studied, and worked in all three North American countries, I bring a global perspective and the skills to foster trade relations, educational partnerships, and cross-border collaborations.
