Led the integration of Aeroplan’s finance function into Air Canada, harmonizing financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency and operational continuity post-acquisition.

• Aeroplan Program Relaunch (2020)

Contributed to the successful relaunch of the Aeroplan program by ensuring end-to-end finance operational readiness and alignment across accounting, reporting, and control functions.

• Finance Transformation & ERP Implementation (2023-2025)

Led Aeroplan’s financial transformation during the transition to SAP S/4HANA and Ariba, covering process redesign, system implementation, and business readiness:

• Redesigned and standardized finance processes across Air Canada and its entities
• Drafted functional specifications and defined roles, responsibilities, and access rights
• Supported test strategy and execution (SIT1, SIT2, UAT)
• Developed user documentation and supported training and adoption
• Managed data migration activities, including validation, reconciliation, and audit documentation for go-live
• Planned and coordinated key business activities leading up to system transition

• Supported financial statement preparation and period-end closings, performed variance analysis, participated in internal and external audits, strengthened internal controls, and supported acquisition audit activities during Aeroplan’s acquisition by Air Canada.

• Implemented PO-based procurement processes, supported PeopleSoft ERP deployment and user onboarding, managed supplier interactions, and produced monthly PO-related financial closing and expense reports.

• Supported three divisions (Indoor Lighting, Outdoor Lighting, Healthcare) through financial analysis, budgeting, and performance reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• Acted as finance business partner to operations, delivering variance and trend analysis that improved cost transparency, performance visibility, and operational decision-making across production sites.
