Additionally I clean the ice during games, maintain the ice, and provide support for customers.
For conversion. I help take down or set up the stages, and infrastructure from the previous events the arena hosted. This involves putting/ taking down the glass around the boards, laying/ taking apart the flooring over the ice, setting up/ taking down the stage. For the skate shop. My job is to handout skates, help with any questions being asked, and provide good customer service. If there is an injury I have my first aid level C , and can effectively deal with the situation. I deal with cash and deposit slips, and often have to problem solve dealing with the cash.
My friend and I ran our own landscaping company over the last few summers called "Maintenance Fellas.". We worked very hard every day, planting garden beds, removing shrubs, roots, plants, ect. We dug trenches, designed gardens, cleaned up properties, power washed driveways, and mowed lawns/weed whacking. We also built chairs garden beds, and fixed fences. During the past few summers, I have learned a lot about customer service, and how to deal with difficult situations, and people appropriately. I've also learned the importance of reputation, and the importance of being proud of your work, while also ensuring the clients satisfied with the work.
