• 04/2018 - 01/2019, School on Wheels (Salvation Army), Whittier, CA, Volunteer Academic Tutor (Part-time). I provided tutoring to children living at the Salvation Army primarily in mathematics and language arts. I utilized a variety of scaffolding techniques that caters to a specific child’s needs. I also informed parents on the progress of their child and parents would inform me what their child needs help on. I kept a data log of each session for company record.
• 02/2016 - 03/2018, Saint Francis Medical Center, Lynwood, CA, COPE Health Scholar (Part-time). I monitored patients on assigned floor(s) in terms of if the patients ate, have their needs met, providing emotional support, and help bathe/ambulate patients under the supervision of a healthcare member. I took intake information from patients in terms of vital signs relating to blood pressure, heart pulse, O2 levels, temperature, pain level, and any abnormal observations then while also taking down the time when information was taken to give to healthcare members.

• 08/2017 - 05/2019, University of La Verne, Co-Founder/Vice President (Pre-Health Club) (Part-time). I co-founded this club as a Vice-President for Pre-Health students that has about 50+ students involved. I led service events with local non-profits such as having charity events with the local Physician Assistant (PA) program from the university. I was part of the executive board to invite guest speakers from local schools to talk about their programs. I gave guidance/advice to people as a college student studying the sciences. I provided a safe and supportive community for students to connect and network with one another.
• 02/2016 - 04/2016, University of La Verne, Spotlight Leader (Campus Activities Board) (Part-time). I greeted admitted students and their families as they arrive to campus. With other Spotlight Leaders, I managed a group of approximately 10-15 admitted students. I was available to students and parents throughout the event to help them make their decision about University of La Verne.
