JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Supporting the core team with any game pitch or presentation, working dynamically in Power Point, Photoshop and After Effects (4 different pitches over the last two years)
  • Establishing the art direction of the overall UIs on Guardians of the Galaxy and Deus Ex, working closely with the Art Director
  • Designing all of the mockups for the HUD, main menu and game menu
  • Animating most of these mockups in After Effect to give a true experience of the final product, and a solid guideline to the integration/programming UI team
  • Deconstructing all of the widgets for the HUD in different guidelines to cover all of the gameplay states and behaviors
  • Creating all of the assets needed for production (icons, badges, FUIs, trophies, fake advertising, various textures)
  • Supporting the level art team with their needs
  • Creating and animating different fake UIs on shaders (scrolls, flipbooks, rotations, etc), using Photoshop, Maya and different materials from the Dawn Engine

  • Working with the online team at Edmonton as the lead artist to deliver the Dragon Age Keep website, working closely with the Sperasoft team (based in Russia)
  • Creating most of the single player campaign game menu mockups, on Mass Effect Andromeda
  • Working closely with the lead UI programmer and the three other UI artists in Frostbite, to recreate the mockups
  • Producing a lot of icons, badges and mood images and implementing them in Frostbite

  • Debugging the UIs on Deus Ex Human Revolution
  • Helping to create the opening credits in After Effects
  • Creating a lot of fake UIs on Deus Ex: Missing link
  • On Deus Ex Mankind divided, designing a lot of diegetic UIs for computers, keypads, security hubs and various panels in the environment
  • Working closely with the concept art team to deliver various adds and posters in the game
  • Designing a lot of early mockups for the game menu and HUD
  • Providing support to the rendering team, through different guidelines and mockups of the x-ray vision
  • Designing a lot of logos for different factions, mega corporations, and shops, mostly based in Prague city
  • Working with Flash for the integration part
