

I am a dedicated sociologist with a four-year BA (Sociology and Geography) and specialized training in the justice system, including a 30-credit certification focused on political science, Indigenous studies, and law. I have a strong passion for advancing the rights and well-being of marginalized groups in Canada through interdisciplinary study and hands-on practice.

As a volunteer case manager with the John Howard Society, I provide client-centered support and advocacy.
As the co-chair of the Assiniboine Community Justice Committee, I collaborate with law enforcement to provide rehabilitation opportunities and potential charge resolution through structured programs.
I have taken on a new role at Forensic Psychological Services, Psychological Health Services, and Therapy and Support Services, where I provide therapy, support, and assistive services to individuals who have previously run into conflict with the law. My focus is on assisting residents in meeting their treatment objectives and acquiring new skills through mentoring and personalized support. I have demonstrated success in developing relationships and managing conflicts effectively.
