My husband, Greg Horne, and myself own two companies. Dark Bay Construction and Horne Properties.
For Dark Bay Construction I am responsible for all office duties, we have a staff of 19 currently. I also assist in reviewing contracts.
Horne Properties is our rental business. We have commercial and residential rentals. I am responsible for collecting all rent, finding tenants, handling any tenant issues. I also do all office duties for Horne Properties.

All of my life I have been an animal lover. My family has a house full, and yard full of animals. I take the role of having animals very seriously and give them the best life possible. I was always the one growing up finding stray kittens or dogs. I would lug them home, look after them and find loving homes. Helping animals fulfills me, looking into their eyes you see pure honesty. I am also an avid dressage rider, I compete and train all year long. I am often travelling to Brookfield, Five Fires Equestrian Centre, to train. I have an 18hh, 6 year old Dutch Warmblood, Musical. We will be travelling throughout the Maritimes this summer competing. Now that I am able to work from home I have the time to volunteer, this is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I hope you feel as though I can benefit your team. I am excited for the endeavour.
