Managed and owned a licensed childcare centre for children aged 30 months-school age. Planned and implemented program to include well being,safety, health and development of children and supported families.

Administrative duties included payroll, government grants and mentored North Island College E.C.C.E practicum students in our program.

Implemented special programs for children who needed extra support and worked with Supported Child Development Program.

• Sanitized dishes, tabletops, toys, and frequently touched surfaces to prevent spreading of germs.
• Prepared healthy foods and beverages for children based on optimal dietary guidelines and individual restrictions.
• Maintained effective schedule balance between rest periods, active play, and instruction.
• Taught children to organize toys, wash hands, and share by leading by example.

• Confirmed appointments, communicated with clients, and updated client records.
• Kept reception area clean and neat to give visitors positive first impression.
• Answered phone promptly and directed incoming calls to correct offices.
