Researcher - A Spherical bearing with PTFE sliding of suspended steel structure

  • Published paper "MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF SUSPENDED STEEL STRUCTURE BEARINGS: A REVIEW", 13th Pacific Structural Steel Conference
  • Published paper "ABAQUS ANALYSIS OF A SPHERICAL BEARING ON SUSPENDED STEEL STRUCTURE", 13th Pacific Structural Steel Conference
  • Analyzed mechanical characteristics including failure mode, force-displacement curve and rotational behavior of the spherical bearing with PTFE sliding using ABAQUS Finite element model.
  • Processed large amount of data obtained from FEM analysis and test results on basis of suspended steel structure researches.
  • Improved a spherical bearing with a new design using in suspended structures that allowed 600 tons of tensile strength and 1/50 rotational capacity.

  • analyze the shear force, bending moment, durability and environmental factor of a reinforced concrete bridge with a 25 meters span.
  • performed detail calculation for reinforced concrete bridge based on AASHTO LRFD and CSA-S6.
  • designed the reinforcements layout of reinforced concrete bridge girders and decks using AutoCAD.
