2013=2016: I was assigned as a patrol officer. I provided security for the students, staff, and community. Also was a training officer for about four officers. I worked at many special events

2016-2018: I was promoted to Sergeant. I supervised the officer with the policy and procedures. The assistant to the training officer program. I was in the field to mentor the officers in making sound decisions. I mentored many officers as a Sergeant.

I wrote the schedule for all field personnel.

2018-2020: I was promoted to Lieutenant. I oversaw field operations and the dispatcher division.

2022=Present: I returned as a part time officer working as a patrol officer.

In my 27-year career I was assigned numerous assignments.

1986-1991, I was assigned to the corrections division. My assignments included: Module Deputy overseeing inmates, Field Training Officer, and Attorney Bonds with outside attorneys visiting their clients.

1991-1995: I was assigned to the North Patrol Division as a patrol officer working the incorporated of the county.

1995-2001: I was assigned to the city of Villa Park as Lead Deputy. My duties were as the lead investigator for all traffic accidents. I also reviewed all employee traffic accidents under the umbrella of the sheriff department.

2001-2006: I was assigned as a member of the Neighborhood Enhancement Team. I worked as a Liaison Deputy with the community of El Modena. I worked with community to bridge the gap of communication.

2006-2013: I was assigned to John Wayne Airport as the Training Coordinator. I oversaw a staff of 120 officers in keeping their records of training. I also assigned Deputies in keeping with POST requirements, such as CPR, Baton, Pepper Spray, and additional training classes.

I coordinated field training exercises with the JWA Fire Dept. OCSD, Irvine PD, TSA, and OCSD Bomb Team.
