Gained experience sampling fish, setting/pulling multi-mesh gillnets, conducting nocturnal bird surveys, tagging geese and sturgeon, all through participating in projects for both Wildlife and Fisheries.
Worked with a team of Manitoba Fisheries Biologists and Technicians to tag, collect data about and release sturgeon, to aid in visualization of the population.
Assisted with recording water quality through the collection of Secchi data.
Took the lead entering historical sample data for the NW Fisheries branch using Excel.
Aided in collecting samples for Chronic Wasting Disease testing from moose.
