Accomplishments

  • I was the main person for ordering supplies for the entire rehabilitation department. I worked closely with the Allied Health manager in fulfilling this role.
  • My organizational skills and passion for helping teams function at a more organized level. With team collaborations, removal of items that clutter areas and are no longer relevant to team function, we develop a cleaner more functional work area with my encouragements.
  • I took an initiative while on the Burns and plastics team to reduce and omit items that were no longer applicable to that area anymore. Preventing dressings (expensive) from being discarded due to expiry issues. Also removal of overstocked items that were part of automatic restock that were no longer relevant to use, this reducing cost to the department and overall initial savings of over $200,000.
