I have worked in a restaurant where I took on the duties of a server, cashier and back of kitchen helper. In the waiter position, I was responsible for greeting guests, guiding them to their seats, providing menus and introducing specialties to guests, taking orders and ensuring accurate delivery of dishes. This work experience developed my communication skills, sense of service and teamwork.

As a cashier, I processed guest payments, including cash and credit card transactions, and provided invoices or receipts. This required me to have fast and accurate math calculation skills, as well as good patience and service attitude to deal with different guests' payment methods and needs.

In my position as a back of kitchen helper, I was involved in ingredient preparation, cooking, plating and cleaning. This honed my culinary skills and knowledge of food safety to ensure that the quality and hygiene of the food was up to standard. In this role, I worked closely with the chef and other kitchen staff to keep the team efficient and coordinated.

Through these work experiences, I have learned how to effectively communicate and work with guests and coworkers, and have developed the ability to solve problems, manage stress, and handle unexpected situations. These skills and experiences will positively impact my future career and provide me with a solid foundation for success in the restaurant industry or any other field.
